Lamella

A thin sheet of metal, sometimes gold, that covered the lips of the dead in burials of the Classical and Hellenistic periods. It usually bears decoration or an inscription.

How can I filter the lexicographical terms?

On the lexicographical terms page, all terms are displayed. Clicking on a letter at the top of the page will display the terms starting with that letter. Clicking on the All button will display all terms.

How can I see the content of a lexicographical term?

Clicking on the corresponding link in the dictionary will redirect you to the term's page. You will see the photo, title, description and at the end the Return to Dictionary button to return to the dictionary page.

It is also possible to hyperlink an existing term in the text of the description and redirect to that term (e.g. in the term Kouros the term Votives)
