Cylindrical basin of clay or stone with a large spout in the base, used for treading grapes or separating olive oil. Often accompanied by a second vessel used to catch the liquid pouring from the spout. Similar installations have been found at various sites of Minoan Crete, such as Vathypetro, Malia, Palaikastro and Zakros.
